THURSDAY -- Provincials and Panthers

The Lakeland Jaguars first game at the Bantam B female provincials is tomorrow morning at 10:00 at the Encana Rink.

We chatted with Coach of the Jaguars Mitch Sylvestre at the same time as we caught up with assistant coach of the Northeast Panters Randy Repchuk.

Here's the audio.

The Camrose Kodiaks cheating comment is an inside joke for Kool 101.3 listeners who know that according to the morning show every team that plays against a Bonnyville squad cheats.

Sirianni has 11 points in 32 games so far this year after spending the first 18 games in the ECHL. The former Pontiac spent four years at Bemidji State before getting a tour of the pro leagues with stops in Syracuse, Youngstown, Utah, Wheeling and Binghamton before finding a home with the Phantoms. In his last year with the Pontiacs in 2002-03 Sirianni had 48 goals 42 assists and 110 Pims in 62 games.

Another former Pontiac, Jon Kalinski spent time with the Phantoms this year before being called up to the Flyers. Kalinski is still out of the Flyer lineup with a leg injury suffered in early January.
