Interesting appearance at practice yesterday. Bonnyville native Devon Kalinski who parted ways with the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL last week was seen on the ice with the Bonnyville Pontiacs. He looked good out there but as of right now rumours of 'Devo' joining the team are just that ... rumours. He would certainly be another nice addition though.
-----
At practice the boys worked on communication between forwards and defencemen while eliminating wingers trying to drive wide, a distinctly 'Bobcatish' type attack.

Dennis Fontaine will be making the trip to do colour tonight and without a doubt he will talk about how the Bobcats like to pinch their defencemen down the walls in the offensive zone so there will be openings through the middle if Bonnyville can chip pucks through and then, probably most importantly, capitalize on any odd man rushes that are generated.
-----
The Bobcats have only five wins on the year but two of those victories were against Bonnyville. Lloydminster is a hard working team that lacks a little offensive punch but in both their wins against the Pontaics they where the team willing to go the extra mile to out work their opponent and it was just enough to win. This shouldn't be the case tonight if the Pontiacs continue their work habits they started against Okotoks on Saturday and continued in St. Albert on Sunday. Actually the good work really started in G.P. at about the 10 minute mark of the first period but at that point they were down 4-0 and unable to come all the way back against the Storm.

Tune in tonight to find out what the next chapter is in the Bonnyville Pontiacs Goaltending saga will be. We'll discover which one of the three gets the start tonight. Pre game show at 7:15.
