Rumor has it the Pontiacs are close to signing a big body out of the WHL. I've heard from another play by play guy in the league that his team that thought they were in the running have been turned down so nothing official but it sounds good for Bonnyville. Stay Tuned.

Two shorthanded goals against on one powerplay last night and the Pontiacs might be wishing they had declined that man advantage.

What a fight between Lazoruk and Hennessey. The two traded rights with both of them landing solid punches and then when the rights got tired they both switched to the left. Best fight I've seen this year or last. Pretty much a draw but I give it to Henny on the strong finish before the linesmen jumped in.

Criag Cuthbert will be ready to go tomorrow night.

Rick Cey picked up a goal and we named him third star on the broadcast. Looks like a good addition to the team. Come on out tomorrow night and see him play and let me know what you think. Should be a good one with Spruce Grove in town.

It will be the Fontaine show this weekend. As always Dennis will be there and we will be joined for an intermission in one of the two games by former Pontiac Justin Fontaine to find out how his season is starting out at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
