Had a nice chat with Ryan Pollock this morning on the radio show and it was a pleasure to actually talk about players coming back from injuries instead of who is out of the lineup.

As for the guys who are still out ... Steven Seigo is close, very close. Sounds like he's itching to get back in but with the Pontiacs playing tonight and the not again for a full week they might lean towards sitting him for one more game so he's 100% when he comes back next week for the Southern road trip.

Kirk Belyk is still at least a week away.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of hold over there is from the game on Wednesday. There is certainly some build up for this game tonight but sometimes when there is this much intrigue entering a contest it doesn't live up to its billing. I mean, what are people expecting? Ross Kenny to turn green and burst out of his shirt in true Hulk fashion? Really, if that doesn't happen some might consider the game a disappointment.

At some point, both teams will remember there are two points on the line and will decide to play some hockey.

Let the league figure out what there is to do about Wednesday. If anything.
