Power Rankings on TheRobbHunter.com are compiled by a panel of media members who follow the AJHL and are based on a combination of last week's play and a squad's overall outlook. Last weeks rankings are in ().
1. Spruce Grove Saints (1) -- G.P. is close but at this point it's undisputed.
2. Grande Prairie Storm (2) -- Went 4 for 4 on their last Southern road trip. Can they do it again before Christmas?
3. Okotoks Oilers (3) -- Can't beat Olds... can beat everybody else. Get your December 21st tickets early. A win over the visiting Storm would be the best Christmas present of all.
4. Brooks Bandits (6) -- The loss of Jordie Deagle will hurt but this South division powerhouse has beat some impressive teams over the last 2 weeks and deserved better in OT against Sherwood Park.
5. Sherwood Park Crusaders (4) -- Are the Cru not as good as we all thought they were? Is everybody else catching up to them? Is this just a mid season swoon?
6. Bonnyville Pontiacs (5) -- Valient fight back from two goals down in Okotoks but couldn't seal the deal losing on a late powerplay goal. Two more wins on this extended trip South will surely vault them past the Park in the rankings but two more wins are a big if.
7. Fort McMurray Oil Barrons (7) -- Last weekend was a perfect example of their inconsistency offensively, shutout 2-0 by the Cru but bounce back to crush them 5-1 on Saturday...Legatto is playing great lately.
8. Olds Grizzlys (8) -- Chance to create some separation for third in the South with 3 games in hand on Drumheller.
9. Calgary Canucks (11) -- Former teamate Chase Komistek comes back to haunt them getting the shutout for Brooks in a 1-0 OT win.
10. Drumheller Dragons (14) -- Bad November officially behind them. Chance on Tuesday to show what they can do against Bonnyville before facing Olds on Friday to wrap up their pre holiday schedule.
11. Lloydminster Bobcats (12) -- Bobcats on a three game winning streak. All three games were against Drayton Valley but the Cats have a good chance to end 2008 with 5 straight wins and really make a statement heading into 2009.
12. Canmore Eagles (13) -- Impressive showing in Camrose this week. 3 out of a possible 4 points against the former Champs.
13. Camrose Kodiaks (9) -- After showing signs of life the Kodiaks have taken a U-turn with only 2 wins in their last 8 games.
14. St. Albert Steel (10) -- Dropped three straight against the Storm and still have to weather 2 more against Sherwood Park.
15. Calgary Royals (16) -- Mark Friesen has seen more rubber than the tarmac at Pearson International.
16. Drayton Valley (15) -- Bad timing for their coach to leave. Things looked like they were improving. Will be interesting to see how much this sets them back.
