MERRY CHRISTMAS

So why do we have to wait for Boxing day for the World Juniors to start? Does tonight work for everybody? yes? okay let's do it.

Pontiacs Stat of the Day:

Tyler Pugh has a goals against average of 2.32 in his games played with Bonnyville so far this year. Julien Laplante has a GAA of 2.66 in a Pontiacs uniform. They will have to be a little better if they want to break a team record.

The Pontiacs set a team record for fewest goals against last year with 166 against. Through 43 games the team has given up 121 goals. With 19 games left the Pontiacs need to give up fewer than 45 goals to break the record. That's 2.3 goals a game. Just something to keep in mind during that last week of the season when they might be close to the record.

What if it comes down to needing a strong performance in the last game of the season? They are going to need to be good with the high scoring Bryce Williamson and the St. Albert Steel in town on February 22nd.

Hockey Night in Canada table hockey game for Christmas. Santa must have got his lists mixed up because there is no way I was that good this year. Tournament at my place when I get home.

Looked everywhere in Mid Town Mall in Saskatoon for Green Magic. The book by Rod Pedersen about the 2007 Saskatchewan Roughrider season. I see on Roddy's blog (link on the right) our very own Mr. Pollock got one. He better bring it on road trips.

So today ESPN 2 is showing the 2008 World Long Drive Championships recorded earlier this year. ESPN showed it yesterday. However, I can't find anywhere when TSN showed it or when TSN 2 is going to show it. I've seen it on for a number of years now but this year, when I want to watch it, I can't find it anywhere ... and a Canadian wins it this year. What's going on TSN?
