I'm listening online to Big 105.5 out of Red Deer as Cam Moon is doing the play by play for the Rebels playing the Kooteny Ice. Mooner is great. He took some time out this summer to record a special wedding greeting for Cheryl and Me.

The game is in a shootout. I much prefer the 3 on 3 double overtime they have in the AJHL. I would just like to see them add 2 on 2.

The Rebels just won by the way.

Had lunch this afternoon with the voice of the North Battleford North Stars of the SJHL, Dan O'Conner. Not to brag at all but before the game he called Canada over Kazakstan 12-0 and I threw out a 15-0 prediction. I don't know why I'm just thinking about this now but Dan probably should have bought lunch after a call like that.

Random Pontiacs stat:

Craig Cuthbert leads the team with 16 goals. When he scores the Pontiacs have a record of 7-3-1-1.

Tyler Henry and Shawn Bates both have 14 goals on the year. The Pontiacs are 8-2-0-1 when Henry gets a goal, 10-0-0-1 when Bates scores and 2-0 when they both score in the same game.

Greg Hennessey has 13 goals and the team is 8-1-0-1 when he scores.

And, injured forward Kirk Belyk was on quite the pace when he got hurt. 10 goals in 25 games. He scored in 9 seperate games and the Pontiacs were 8-1 when he lit the lamp.
