TUESDAY AFTERNOON

With practice set to go at 2:00 Shawn Bates and Matthew Register walked into the RJ Lalonde with Lucas Isley at 1:48. Shawn and Matt had picked Lucas up in Edmoton and were delayed in an effort to get his luggage.

The luggage still didn't make it but I guess this is one player that you can guarantee won't be bringing any "excess baggage" into the locker room.

However, with some borrowed equipment, Lucas made it onto the ice just a few minutes late for the start of practice.

Isley skated on a line with Bates and Brennan Volcan in practice although I think you can expect Jeremy Gerhardt to join Bates and Isley when he is healthy. Gerhardt and fellow injured forward Rick Cey are both on the ice this afternoon but are wearing the White "I'm Injured" Jerseys. Expect both of them to be back in the lineup for Friday.

Ashton Hewson who missed the last two games with the flu is also ready to go.

Greg Hennessey tells me he won't have a problem giving Isley back the number 89 he wore for the last three years as a Pontiac. I told Henny to at least get a steak dinner out of the deal.
