Hello hockey fans in Bonnyville and those listening around the globe courtesy of the world wide web. This is the Telephone Connections Pregame Show on B and R Eckles Pontiacs Hockey. I am Robb Hunter.
A playoff atmosphere in January. The Pontiacs and Oil Barrons are on a collision course with the first round of the playoffs.
With the Pontiacs 8 points back of Sherwood Park and the MOB 8 points ahead of St. Albert it is looking more and more likely Bonnyville and Fort McMurray will be first round dance partners with home ice advantage still up for grabs. These two points tonight will go a long way to deciding who leads... Thickwood Heights or RJ Lalonde. Two buildings that visiting teams have trouble getting wins in.
Fort Mac does have a win at the RJ this year but the Pontiacs lead the season series 3 games to 2. Mirwaldt or Henry, Dubetz and Bates, Stebner, Seigo, Legatto and Pugh. Know the names because the reality is both teams will be dancing with their stars.
Tonight, it's the Oil Barrons and the Pontiacs only on Kool 101.3

Who is out of Pontiacs Line that would have an impact on a playoff game and same question about MOB. Will all Pontiacs players be back for playoffs.
Kirk Belyk, Greg Hennessey, Marc-Antoine Juneau. I have no clue on extent of their injuries but they are all longterm as far as I know.
