To our readers in Fort McMurray I had hoped to provide you with post game comments from Coach Gord Thibodeau but our reporter was told after the game that Gord would not be speaking to the media.

Sometimes if both teams are really upset with the reffing it means the ref did a pretty good job. This is not one of those times.

The suspension of Greg Hennessey likely means Beau Bertagnolli will check back into the lineup. Beau spent plenty of time playing with Ross Herzog and Denis Cadrin down the stretch so there won't be any unfamiliarity there.

James Sharun is going to get somebody killed. The guy is a joke.
bullshit. It was a good non-call. The suspension is a joke. Gordo stomped his feet like a little girl and got his way with the league.
I was so close to the hit I could I almost became dizzy after it. But I agree with yakyak. It was a clean hit from what I saw. What's the complaint? Elbow? Slue foot?
I may be wrong, but like I said, looked clean from where I was.
No call on the hit and everyone in the rink knew what was going to happen when Lauder lined up next to Hennessey on the faceoff but Sharun. The sucker punch was coming but he let it happen.
IT WAS A GOOD NON-CALL. Geez. Why should the ref call a clean hit? makes no sense.
Not to mention that there was no suspension on the hit on Westfall, and that was a dirty hit.
like the old saying goes... the squeeky wheel gets the greese. in this case the squeeky wheel is good ol' boys club founder Gordo T.
