The Pontiacs are 0-2-1-1 against the Spruce Grove Saints this year with their next two games against the top team in the league.
According to the AJHL record book the record for fewest regular season regulation time losses in a 62 game season is 8. A record held by the 07-08 Camrose Kodiaks and the 98-99 Calgary Canucks. The Kodiaks also had an 8 loss season in 2004-05 when they played a 64 game schedule.
The Saints currently have 6 regulation losses with 6 games left in the season. Spruce Grove finishes the year with a home and home against Bonnyville, one in Drayton Valley, at home against Lloyd and then a pair in Fort McMurray.

I think I'm going to make it. As a morning show radio guy who has to read the sports in the morning I don't often get a chance to record a sporting event to watch the next day. Thankfully no one in Canada cares about who won the Duke vs. North Carolina game last night so I can watch the second half when I get home. I know I'm a hockey guy but the Blue Devil/Tar Heel rivalry is the best in North American sports.
