The Northeast Panthers host Grande Prairie this weekend in the first round of the RAMHL playoffs this weekend. The games on Friday and Saturday start at 6:00 on the Encana ice surface. So show up early for the Pontiacs games and take in the start of the Panthers games.
The Panthers put in an incredible season finishing just one point shy of Peace River for first in the league.
You will really want to show up early on Friday as the first 1000 fans that show up for the Pontiacs game get themselves a playoff rally towel.
Kudo's to former Kool DJ Dave Tymo for coming up with that idea.

This has been a very long week.

I was able to drop by Pontiacs practice yesterday. The tempo seemed high. I imagine teams all across the league are chomping at the bit to get going this weekend.

An interesting view of the Pontiacs and Oil Barrons series on the Mob Blog this morning.
