Based on the arguments on the Panel for the AJHL rankings it must be exceptionally tough picking the CJHL top 15. Especially trying to compare ten different leagues. Have got to wonder thought how the Grande Prairie Storm, with the week they had, don't get an honorable mention. They split with the Oil Barrons on the road, they split with the Saints at home and they swept the Pontiacs in a series of 2 game sets and they beat the #1 ranked team in the country the day before these rankings came out.
All that and what did the Bronco's do to lose their number one spot? They lost to 2nd place Flin Flon while pounding Notre Dame 9-4 and beating up on the poor Nipawin Hawks. In the same week the Cru lost twice and only won once.
Don't get me wrong. Kudos to the Cru, they are one heck of a hockey team and deserve to be 1 or 2 but based on the last week and the last week alone 2 seems to be the better spot.
Again, I recognize it's a tough job but if the point of putting these rankings out is not to stir discussion than what are they for?
