Saturday turned into the matchup most people expected but too bad for Pontiacs fans they didn't get the result they were looking for. Good recap on bonnyvillepontiacs.com.
And what can you say about Sunday. The Pontiacs dominate through 2 and then the Royals decide to turn it into a slug fest in the third which probably wasn't the best idea if you are Mike Matlo's forehead. The Pontiacs won the game and the fights, it's just too bad they will now be missing Juneau and Brown for a good game Friday against Drumheller because of suspensions.

Pontiacs are not in action again until Friday which will give the team some much needed practice time. By my unofficial count the Pontiacs had 10 practices in October with many of them being short skates to keep the team fresh for the number of games they played. In comparison it looks like the team could have upwards of 15 practice days in November.

Happy Birthday to Mike Pickett who designed the logo and is hopefully starting some work on the merchandise. If anybody ever needs anything done with ANY kind of ink Pickett is the guy to talk to.
