MONDAY THOUGHTS

Tough loss for Team Canada West at the WJAC in Camrose. I would offer my insight on the game but my satellite was down all day yesterday. The company who runs my satellite, who's name I won't mention but rhymes with 'Smell', says there must be a problem with the equipment (which I'm renting from them) will gladly send somebody out to take a look at it for a small $75 fee. It's your equipment you ... nevermind.

-----

Good win for the Pontiacs on Friday night. Six players out of the lineup and Ashton Hewson, Matthew Register and Tyler Pugh decided it would still be Bonnyville's night.

-----

For the record, I couldn't be happier to have Dennis Fontaine as my colour commentator.

-----

Never going to complain about 9 wins in 10 games but the matchups this week in G.P. become all that more interesting when you think about who the Pontaics have beaten in those 9 games. In the victories the Pontiacs beat teams with an overall record of 77-135-2-9. You can't choose who you play and when you play teams below you in the standings you still need to go out and win but it's a trip like the Pontiacs make this week that will help show how far along this team has come.

-----

The team heads to Grande Prairie tomorrow so bus legs shouldn't be an issue on Wednesday.

-----

The Pontiacs held their team auction banquet on Saturday. It's an event that has grown over the last couple years with this years addition being the best yet.
